It has caused me to look harder at potential drivers related to long Covid.
The association with epipharyngitis in 100% of long Covid patients has drawn my attention to the oral microbiome as another target.
In this associated study, there is clear demonstration that the oral microbiome is also altered with gut related issues. Could specific bacterial toxins be driving some of the symptoms in long Covid?
