Why do some individuals when infected with SARS-COV2, have symptoms associated with immune dysregulation?
In my opinion, although infection of immune cells may occur, it seems to cause long term symptoms in some individuals. Is that random, or is there a long covid predisposition?
Prior immune activation seems to be connected to the risk of chronic immune cell infection, leading to long covid symptoms.
