This was a short clip from a regular research meeting with Professor Bruce Uhal (Michigan State University - USA) and Professor Anthony Turner (Emeritus - Leeds University, UK). Reflecting on the relevance of fibromyalgia pathophysiology in connection to long covid.
I have been collaborating with Professor Uhal (leading pulmonary ACE-2 researcher) since May 2020 and we have published 2 papers on autoimmunity in COVID-19.
Professor Anthony Turner and his team discovered the enzyme ACE-2 in 2000 (happens to be the entry receptor for SARS-COV and SARS-COV2) as well as serum ACE-2 and neprilysin.
