This was a short clip from a regular research meeting with Professor Bruce Uhal (Michigan State University - USA) and Professor Anthony Turner (Emeritus - Leeds University, UK).
I believe there will be an autoimmune link proven one day. As a parent of someone struggling with post-viral infection issues, I see how it flares/recedes and how mornings are difficult. These are classic clinical presentations of autoimmune disease. Also, listen to Dr. Chung at Johns Hopkins who works with POTS patients ... he sees improvement from those taking IVIG and he is starting a trial of an autoimmune medication soon, based on his vast clinical experience.
Thank you for your contribution once again. Scheibenbogen's group suggested a LOWER amount of different GPCR Aab's in long covid compared to controls, opposite acute Covid. And a trend that the Aab's decline with time and are lower in women than men. Physiological amounts of Aab's seem to contribute to normal function of GPCR receptors in the ANS. Upregulation of target receptors and anti-idiotype Ab's were hypothesized as mechanisms. What do you think?

Agree it is autoimmune but not specifically secondary to ACE-2 autoantibodies.
