Very interesting. I've just added two new elements to my treatment protocol which, so far, are definitely helping and may be related to the above. The first is the use of augmented NAC which is said to degrade circulating spike protein. The second is infra-red saunas (like a sleeping bag) which, I am now doing daily. These definitely improve my circulation so I can have many hours of feeling symptom-free and my sleep has gone from disastrous back to 7 hours per night. Fingers crossed it lasts!
Dr Peers uses it with her patients. See the recent video below. This is the website which explains the difference. I certainly had some kind of herx reaction when first starting and when moving from 1-2 capsules per day so it is certainly doing something beyond standard NAC which I was previously taking. You may be able to access it in the US. This video interview with Dr Saleeby, one of the FLCCC doctors, is also useful and contains information about a US supplier.
I should add that some people with Long Covid are triggered by heat. I built up slowly so now, although my heart rate is raised about 10 bpm by the end of a 45 minute session, I don't have lasting issues. I don't know whether this will enhance recovery but as a way of ameliorating my symptoms it is one of the best things I have tried.
Dr. Mcmillan-- there is controversial data coming out about how to rid the body of these mirco clots. In the actual test tube and microscope studies and available data of Dr. Ana Mihalcea the traditional anti coagulants/platelets prescribed are NOT breaking up these clots. Also nattokinase did not have much impact on this either. If I remember correctly EDTA chelation therapy had the best outcome on breaking up these micro clots that you are referring to. All her data is available to review on her sub stack. Also, there is so much discovery on the gut being a primary source for the continued spike production (hijacking the ecoli/candida)-- why aren't we discussing that more and how to treat this not to mention testing for this. Where can I test my stool to see if this is what is happening to me-- but where in the US is this being offered? We here in the US do not have advanced treatment for LC like you do in many other countries, ex: Italy, S. Africa (Dr. Chetty) and others. Can you discuss more information on getting us these references and help. Thank you.
I requested information to get tested from her practice but I think the quote was around 800-900$. Extremely expensive and am trying to plan for that- but between supplements, IV treatments, doctor visits and working part time as a long hauler you must understand how difficult financially this is for all of us. But yes, Dr Hazan is amazing and I hope to be her patient in the future.
There was a large scale survey undertaken on Twitter by a pharmacist ill with ME/CFS. On the basis of that I have been using Drs Best Natto-Serra at 10,000 FU per day. 3 capsules first thing and 2 capsules before bed. This greatly resolved my brain fog and even with a recent relapse the brain fog did not return. The survey showed that lower doses of nattokinase / serrapeptase were not effective.
Was the natto/ Serra separate capsules? What dose of each helped?? I see to 10,000 IU but how much dose in each cap? Was 10,000 including the night and day? This is good info to have.
Drs Best nattoserra came out high on the Twitter survey. So that is a capsule containing both nattokinase and serrapeptase. I've only quoted the amounts in FU for nattokinase but basically I take 2 or 3 capsules at 6.30am together with a baby aspirin (they apparently have synergistic effects) and then 2 capsules before bedtime. So both doses on an empty stomach. Each capsule contains 2000 FU of nattokinase. The survey found significant improvements at 8,000 FU and above. I found at least one paper where this amount was well tolerated by a group of elderly patients. But there may need to be extra caution if taking blood thinners.
Somewhere on her page some time ago she posted a video of a young girl with Tourette’s like behaviour really bad, hitting herself, swearing, a severe case.
It was in her gut. Dr Sabine Hazan fixed her. If you email her she could give you the link if you ask.
Very interesting and important research! Thank you for sharing!

Does your NAC bottle say Augmented NAC? I am trying to understand the difference between regular NAC in ingredient and augmented?

Thank you. I just emailed the company to see where I can purchase in the US.
Where can I get the info on the infrared sleeping bag you are having success with?
It's this one.

Don’t know if this is of interest. This guy is a member of The Gut Club I believe where they do stool tests and post the results.

For those dealing with Long COVID or have friends dealing with it. A suitable 16s test may help.
